The film begins with an hilarious interaction between the intractable customs officer, Sonia (Julie Le Breton who rules her boom gate with an iron first first encounters Victor (Édouard Baer, How to Be a Good Wife) a charming but down-on-his-luck French chef from New York, who finds his knives and gourmet food unfairly confiscated. Film over? Non!
